Modern Feng Shui Kitchen

Note the contrast of the dark cherry cabs with the light cathedral ceiling and countertops

The three large full extension drawers at the end of the island provide tons of storage.

The 12x24" porcelain tiles visually lengthen the room.

To solve the often heard " I'll be there in a minute" the client selected a warming drawer for under the oven.

An appliance garage helps maintain the clean lines of the space.

Now you see it, now you don't!

Straight out of the 60's. See if you can find the "in counter" blender and "mission control" intercom.!

The oven looked like it was never used !

The goal for this project was to open up the space and create a modern kitchen that also held to the ideals of Feng Shui. We started by taking down as many walls as we could and creating a cathedral ceiling. The cleanly designed cherry cabs with an expresso stain contrast well with the light stone and stainless steel appliances. Sunlight floods the kitchen and is reflected well throughout the space. Our client want a clean look and functional design. I think we nailed it!
