Greener PVC

 

Recycling cardboard and metal on the job site has always been a no brainer, but PVC was not always so easy.  Steveworks is proud to announce that we now recycle PVC!  Thanks to F.D. Sterritt Lumber Co., our local supplier, PVC is becoming a more sustainable choice.  Instead of going to landfills, we bring our scraps back to Sterritt and they return to us as new post-consumer recycled products.  Sterritt Lumber is an FSC-certified distributor, and is a leader in the green building movement.  We have been buying FSC wood and other high-quality green building supplies from Sterritt for a long time now because we share the same commitment to sustainability, and we’re very excited about this new recycling service.
