Cool Products: Shipping “Pyramids”

It’s not often, in fact never, that we’re so impressed by the packing materials used to ship that we practically ignore the item we purchased. But there’s a first time for everything! We had some items shipped to us recently and were intrigued by these cardboard “pyramids.”  How on earth could these little cardboard “hole-y triangles” keep fragile items from breaking during shipping?

Well, Steve was intrigued enough to investigate (‘cause that’s the kind of guy Steve is) and found the manufacturer of “ExpandOS” online. These are recyclable and reusable cardboard triangles designed to be so strong that you can ship a lightbulb and not have it break. Very cool! https://www.crownhillpackaging.com/void-fill/
