I recently attended a “Lunch and Learn” at Designer Bath in Watertown on kitchen workstations. Sponsored by The Galley, these products turn the humble sink into a powerhouse food prep, serving and clean-up station. Especially when paired with a two-burner induction cooktop, they save steps, control messes and up the ante in a kitchen.
Sizes range from 2 feet to 7 feet long. The Galley pitches their product as the ideal addition to an island, allowing the cooks to interact with their guests through the process. But with their integrated cutting boards and other accessories they can also increase the flexibility of a small kitchen by allowing the sink to double as a prep space.
