HOT cannot even begin to describe the blistering heat that the riders endured during this year’s Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway – and every hot mile was worth it! The steveworks team, including Steve Greenberg, Ari Greenberg, Russ Forman, and Arielle Hornstein, conquered their 14th ride. The riders covered 150-miles, from Quincy to Provincetown, over two days.

The ride started in Quincy on Saturday June 30 at 7:30 am. While last year’s race was rainy, this year it was 93 degrees and humid. To avoid the predicted heat on Sunday, the team was up by 4 am and on the road by 5:30. By 1pm the entire team had arrived in Provincetown to celebrate their achievement.

Not only did the steveworks team do an amazing job at riding, but they also far exceeded their $8,000 fundraising goal. In total, they raised $11,579 to support research and life-changing programs and services for people living with MS.

“It’s an honor to participate in this ride every year,” said Steve. “There were a good number of riders who have MS and were riding right alongside of us, wearing “I Ride with MS” jerseys. It’s one thing to deal with heat and rain and hills, but to ride with MS and smile the entire time is inspiring. We’re already looking forward to next year!”
