Team steveworks Races to the Finish Line at the Bike MS: Cape Cod Challenge

Team steveworks and their awesome support crew! Front row: Jim Boroczky, Jessica Boroczky, Juliana Marcus, Asher Greenberg, and Tova Greenberg. The riders in the back row: Brian Joseph, Phil Getto, Mark Zak, Steve Greenberg, Ari Greenberg, and Arielle Hornstein.

We are thrilled to report that team steveworks logged another great Bike MS Ride this past weekend! The annual Cape Cod Getaway was cancelled last year and modified to a one-day event this year. The ride took place Saturday, July 10th, and the rains held off for the 75-mile trek. In a field of 800 riders made up of 80 teams, we finished 24th – our best showing yet!

Most importantly, we’ve been able to raise more than $13,000 – all of which goes directly towards finding a cure for multiple sclerosis. If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, we’d love to raise even more!

The day of the race the team was up at 5 am and the bikers took off at 7 am. We met the volunteer crew at the first rest stop, 20 miles into the race, at Wompatuch State Forest. After hours of riding, we had all crossed the finish line by 1:30 in the afternoon at the Maritime Academy in Bourne.

Overall, we lucked out with the weather and were grateful that we could again participate in this amazing race. Nearly all of the participants have some connection to a friend or family member with multiple scleroris, so it’s always a heartfelt race and an event we look forward to all year long!

We made it! The finish line at the Maritime Academy, Bourne.
