    We upgraded every surface, added a Runtal radiator for warmth at the window and swapped the old casement windows for a bay.

    Finishes are soft, including this lovely subway tile. The hood works when retracted to the cabinet line but can also be pulled out for greater capacity. Slide the double arrows to see it open and closed.

    The back door is just to the left of the range, so we added this open shelving to give a bit of separation between the entry and the cooking area.

Key asks for this kitchen: better bird-watching and a landing space by the stove, without expanding the footprint or changing the basic layout. We were also asked to update the kitchen with an eye toward future 1st floor living.

We also renovated the bathroom as part of this project.
