A new, contemporary front door leads to a bright entry foyer and the new staircase. The opening to the living room was widened.

A little stairway bling. You should have seen our carpenter and electrician hanging this fixture!

A favorite strategy of ours is to steal a sliver of space at the top of the stairs for a mini library. It's just 5' wide but borrows space from the stairwell to feel larger.

In the primary bedroom, the sage walls play off a deeper green accent wall. 4 windows and a french door to the private deck provide lots of light.

The primary bedroom design incorporates a vanity nook. The bathroom shelves occupy the space to the left.

The primary bath is serene--with a pop of sage green. Frameless Hydroslide shower doors keep the space open and airy.

Hallway bath. There's a bath with tub downstairs, but this is 5' wide in case a future owner wants to add a tub here.

This bedroom is on the north side of the house, but still has plenty of light.

A particular request was for a dormered office over the garage. Operable skylights on the rear (not shown) provide ventilation and a view of the trees.

Rear view. The entire 2nd floor and the kitchen bump out on the far right are new.

We kept the existing HVAC for the 1st floor, which was fairly new, but were able to upgrade to heat pumps to heat and cool the 2nd floor, and to heat pump hot water.

Our client loves sage green, and you’ll see that color both inside and outside this completely remodeled and expanded home. She also loves the energy savings from the tighter building envelope and state-of-the-art systems!

“This is a family-based business and it really shows in their effort and investment in the projects they choose to take on. Beautiful and high-quality work that has led to the ultimate forever-home.”
