The Cat’s Meow

This bath has it all—lots of storage, good lighting, and a gorgeous accent wall.

Cabinets include doors, drawers, and a linen tower by Bertch.

The side window was reduced to make room for a towel warmer by Kartners.

The tile flows from the floor up the shower walls.

Curbless shower with linear drain—keeps the sleek lines and is accessible.

A mix of finishes enlivens the space.

The heated tile floor is purrfect.

This primary bath was large but outdated and not very functional. It had a tub that the owners never used and a cramped shower that didn’t contain water very well.  We removed the tub, which allowed for a large Bertch vanity as well as a linen tower and large, curbless shower. The radiant floor heat (which the cats love) warms the soul/sole without overheating the space. A heated towel warmer provides an additional touch of luxury. We removed abandoned ducting from a previous renovation and incorporated that space into the room. We took the opportunity to add insulation in the walls and in the garage ceiling below. We love the vibrant blue vertical subway tile on the accent wall.

Before and After

The shower was awkwardly encroached by a tub that was never used.

We reduced the side window to make room for a towel warmer by Kartners.

We recently completed a master bathroom renovation with steveworks and couldn’t be happier with the outcome or the experience working with Steve, Tova, Asher, Brian, and the rest of the crew.
